Privacy Policy

Your audio never leaves your computer. LC-1 measures and corrects files inside your browser, so we never receive, store or see your audio.

What we collect and why

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to count visits and how LC-1 is used, for example that a file was checked against a spec. It never receives your audio or file names. We do not use advertising trackers.
Payments. Paddle sells subscriptions as merchant of record and collects your payment details directly. We never see your full card number. Paddle's Privacy Notice explains how it uses your data.
Who else handles your data
- Paddle: payments, tax and receipts (UK).
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and stores account data.
- Google Workspace: our email (support@ and billing@).
- Google Analytics: visit statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
If any of these process data outside the UK, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
Cookies. We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and keep your preferences in your browser's storage; LC-1 needs these to work. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie strip. We remember your choice for 12 months, then ask again. You can change it any time with the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page.
Your rights. You can ask to see, correct, delete or download your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@orjo.co.uk and we will reply within one month. You can delete your account at any time.
Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes. We will post any changes here and email you about significant ones.
