1. Who we are. LC-1 Loudness Correction ("LC-1") is an orjo product. orjo is a brand of Azteca Nexus, the trading name of Ollie Usher, a sole trader in England ("we", "us"). Address: Azteca Nexus, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Email: support@orjo.co.uk. VAT number: GB 357 4708 71.
2. What LC-1 does. LC-1 measures audio files against published loudness delivery specifications and can print a corrected copy. Processing happens in your web browser. Your audio is not uploaded to us.
3. Your account. You need an account to print corrected files. Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. A Facility plan owner may invite up to five users, including themselves, and is responsible for those users' use.
4. Subscriptions and payment. Checking files is free. Printing needs a paid subscription, billed monthly in advance. Our order process is run by Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all orders. Paddle provides customer service for payment questions and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. Prices are shown before VAT or local sales tax, which Paddle adds at checkout.
5. Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Account settings. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. Our Refund policy explains when a refund is available.
6. Price changes. We may change prices. We will email you at least 30 days before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
7. Delivery specifications. Preset figures are taken from documents published by broadcasters, standards bodies and delivery services. Each spec page shows its sources and the date they were last checked. Specs change, and broadcasters can apply their own checks. You remain responsible for confirming the current specification with whoever you deliver to and for checking files before delivery. LC-1 is not endorsed by or affiliated with any of these bodies.
8. Your files. Your audio and the files LC-1 prints remain yours. LC-1 never changes your original file. Keep your own backups.
9. Fair use. Do not misuse LC-1. That includes trying to get around the subscription, copying or reselling the software, interfering with the service, or sharing one Single plan between several people.
10. Availability and changes. We aim to keep LC-1 available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features. If we stop the service, we will refund any unused part of a paid month.
11. Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business, rejected deliveries or re-delivery costs. Our total liability to you is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Ending your access. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why first.
13. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We will email you about significant changes before they apply.
14. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring a claim in your own nation's courts.
